TROSTYANETS CITY HOSPITAL

The hospital lacks a full-fledged rehabilitation department. The war in Ukraine, the large number of wounded and injured servicemen, the suffering and fear of the country's civilian population, the high level of injuries, including children's injuries, the growing incidence of strokes and heart attacks, and the coronavirus infection of organs and systems have dramatically increased the population's demand for rehabilitation medical services and require urgent measures to establish a rehabilitation department.
Project goal: conducting medical, psychological and social rehabilitation of military personnel and their families, as well as ordinary citizens affected by hostilities.

TROSTYANETS PRIMARY HEALTHCARE CENTRE

The purpose of this project is to reconstruct a non-residential building to create appropriate medical conditions for the Primary Health Care Centre in the Trostyanets community.
The social significance is that the existing building of the Primary Health Care Centre does not meet modern standards and does not allow to provide quality medical care and treat patients in full. Renovation of this healthcare facility is an urgent need to ensure an adequate level of healthcare for the residents of the Trostyanets community.

OVERHAUL AND THERMAL MODERNISATION OF A GENERAL EDUCATION INSTITUTION IN SOLDATSKE VILLAGE

The aim of this project is to comprehensively restore and thermally modernise the destroyed building of a general education institution in Soldatske village, as well as to carry out internal works and improve the area around the school.
The social significance of this project is extremely important, as it aims to ensure safe and comfortable learning for 80 students of the educational institution that was damaged by the Russian army's bombing. The restoration of the school building will help to resume the educational process and create comfortable conditions for children to receive education.

RECONSTRUCTION OF SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT IN TROSTYANETS

The goal of this project is a full reconstruction of the central sewage treatment plant whis was buit in the 70s of the last century and increasing their capacity to 2,000 cubic metres.
Social significance of the project: the reconstruction of the sewage treatment plant will help improve the quality of water disposal for the community. This is important to ensure the vital needs and health of citizens. The reconstruction will help improve the environment and conserve water resources. This will help reduce environmental pollution and increase resilience to climate change.
Finally, this project also has a social impact through the creation of jobs during the reconstruction and maintenance of infrastructure, which affects the development of the community.

RECONSTRUCTION OF THE DINING ROOM-CAFE INTO AN EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL CENTRE

The goal of this project is to complete the construction and equipping of the premises of the educational centre, which is aimed at supporting business, attracting investment, developing the youth movement and developing the territory.
The social value is to create a platform for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, which contributes to job creation and economic growth in the region. The educational centre will also be an important resource for attracting investment and supporting new projects, which can contribute to infrastructure development and create new opportunities for the community.

CREATION OF A MULTIFUNCTIONAL LEISURE CENTRE THROUGH THE REVITALISATION OF THE CITY BOILER HOUSE

The goal of this project is to create a multifunctional leisure centre with a wide range of services, such as a large multipurpose hall, a coworking centre, lounge areas, meeting and Skype rooms, as well as premises for extracurricular and non-formal education.
The social impact of this project is to create an infrastructure for business and entrepreneurship development in the community by providing coworking spaces and meeting rooms. In addition, this centre will become a place for social meetings, events and entertainment for the community, contributing to their leisure and cultural development.

    with a total area of about 350,000 square meters. As of December 1, 2021, 7,981 square meters are under lease (99 contracts), of which 42 land management contracts have been concluded with budgetary institutions on issues of land resource management.

  • Community is a member of the European Covenant of Mayors initiative. The Action Plan for Sustainable Energy Development until 2030 has been developed and approved by the European Commission.

  • The community has developed a development strategy until 2030.

The rational management of the community's land resources is of particular importance, since the level of improvement and maintenance of the communal economy depends on the revenue from the payment for land by users. All land issues are resolved only at the plenary sessions of the City Council sessions.

    NATIONAL HERITAGE OBJECTS

The settlement and two villages of the Middle Ages, the Round Yard, the main building of the estate of L.E. Koenig, Nymph's Grotto, Bila, Annunciation Church, Ascension Church. The main decoration and the oldest building of the city is the Round Yard - it is a unique architectural monument of the 18th century. Annually, the Round Yard welcomes up to 30 thousand tourists from all over the world as part of international festival events:

ON FEBRUARY 24, 2022, THE CITY WAS ATTACKED AND OCCUPIED BY RUSSIAN TROOPS. TROSTYANETS WAS OCCUPIED FOR 30 DAYS AND WAS LIBERATED BY UKRAINIAN TROOPS ON MARCH 26, 2022. THE PRELIMINARY ESTIMATE OF THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE DAMAGED BUILDINGS EXCEEDS $104 MILLION.

DISTRACTION OF SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE

Railway station and 40th Army Square

During the russian occupation and as a result of enemy shelling, the railway station suffered significant damage, and the adjacent square of the 40th Army was completely destroyed. In addition, buildings near the Square, surface and underground communications also suffered significant damage.

Krasnotrostyanets Forest Research Station

It is an architectural monument of the 19th century. The building of the forestry research station suffered significant destruction as a result of enemy shelling during the liberation of the city of Trostyanets. Because of this, a lot of important scientific literature on the study of the natural fund of the Trostyanets region was destroyed.

City Hospital

It became the first institution in Ukraine, which in 2017, as a result of the decentralization reform, was transferred from the management system of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to the Trostyanets City Council. During 2018-2021, a large-scale reconstruction was carried out at the hospital (with funds from the local budget and a loan taken by the city council).

One of the main budget-generating enterprises of the community was damaged. The enterprise employs about 2,000 people. Over the past 20 years, the company has invested more than 200 million US dollars in its development.
Under the cover of the enterprise, Russian troops shelled populated areas. They robbed the warehouse of finished products and stole office equipment.
